I-18 - Can system-level and individual medical staff needs coexist? Spoiler: Yes!
Multi-hospital systems are seeking standardization across their medical staffs to improve care and efficiency. While unification of all staffs under a single, system-wide medical staff organization is an option, this approach can overlook the unique needs of individual staffs and hospitals. Join the Organized Medical Staff Section to learn how systematization--or creating uniformity in select medical staff governance and operations areas without formal unification--can benefit your medical staff. If you have any questions, please contact us at 800-621-8335. Should you have questions regarding the content, please contact Keith Voogd at keith.voogd@ama-assn.org.
