Objectives
Upon completion of this educational activity, the physician will be able to:
- Identify the link between disruptive behavior and patient safety
- Compare appropriate and inappropriate behaviors with behaviors that could be described as disruptive
- Describe the importance of addressing inappropriate and disruptive behavior and how to create a plan to address these behaviors leveraging the AMA’s Model Medical Staff Code of Conduct
Target Audience
This activity is designed to meet the educational needs of physicians, members of the hospital medical staff, department chairmen and chairwomen and MD senior hospital administrators.
