Statement of Need Physicians have a persistent fear of the unknown when it comes to how they will get paid under new models. These webinars will make the case that most new payment models will continue to rely on a modified Fee-for-Service (FFS) payment system for the foreseeable future. Rather than replacing FFS entirely, most new models are FFS hybrids with enhancements that enable more accurate cost and quality projections and performance benchmarking. This is made possible by emerging data analytic and sharing capabilities which give physicians the confidence to assume more risk in their payment contracts.
