Live The Role of the Physician as a Leader in Patient Safety and Quality: Aligning medical staff and hospital interests for better outcomes
Increasingly, hospitals and physicians are being asked by both payers and regulatory agencies to quantify what they are doing to improve safety and quality of care. This imperative provides a challenge and opportunity for physicians and hospital administrators to collaborate in the development and implementation of strategies leading to safer and more efficient care. Physician leadership in the advancement of these efforts is critical. Should you have technical questions, please contact the AMA Unified Service Center at 1-800-621-8335.
