Live ICD-10: Actions physicians need to be taking now to prepare for the regulatory mandate
While many physicians have concerns about the costs and burden of ICD-10, there are other stakeholders, including government agencies, researchers, large payers, large health system providers, and public health entities that support the conversion. The AMA continues to advocate against this regulatory mandate; however, physicians need to be prepared for the conversion or put all physician reimbursement at risk. Should you have technical questions, please contact the AMA Unified Service Center at 1-800-621-8335.
