Physician Leadership During Challenging Times
Providing effective leadership in our current healthcare environment is important. As the influence of health care reform continues to unfold, physicians’ roles and the needs of their organizations are changing. Leaders must create and sustain an environment that promotes teamwork and fosters a culture of quality and patient safety. This proves especially important when leading during a time of change. A panel of expert healthcare leaders will provide insight into their views of the desired attributes of physician leaders. Should you have technical questions, please contact the AMA Unified Service Center at 800-621-8335. Should you have any questions regarding the content, please contact Katie Pajak at kathryn.pajak@ama-assn.org or 1-312-464-5450.
